Terms of Service

These terms cover Ollie the Wonderkid, the mobile game available on the App Store and Google Play. By playing it you agree to them. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf.
Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play Ollie the Wonderkid on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial enjoyment. That licence lasts as long as these terms do.
What you may not do
- Copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the game, or any of its videos, images, music or artwork.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the game, or use a modified or cheating client.
- Interfere with our servers, or attempt to gain coins, diamonds, cards or leaderboard positions by any means other than playing.
- Choose a nickname that is a real name, an insult, an advertisement, or anything unsuitable for a game played by children.
Virtual items and in-app purchases
Coins, diamonds, energy and cards are virtual items. They have no monetary value, they cannot be exchanged for real money or for anything outside the game, and buying them grants a limited licence to use them inside the game rather than ownership of property. Everything in the game can be reached without spending anything.
Purchases are handled by Apple or by Google, not by us, and are charged to your store account. All purchases are final except where the law says otherwise. Refunds are Apple's and Google's to give — request one through Apple's Report a Problem or through Google Play's refund process. If you are a parent, both stores let you require a password or approval for every purchase; we strongly recommend turning that on.
Prices, the contents of a bundle, and the rate at which the game hands out currency can change. We may retire an item; if we do, anything already bought stays usable for a reasonable period.
Advertising
The game shows ads, including optional rewarded ads you choose to watch in exchange for energy or a bigger daily reward. Ad content comes from Google AdMob and is not written or checked by us in advance. See the Privacy Policy for how ad requests are configured for a children's audience.
Your save
Your progress is tied to a random identifier stored on your device. There is no account and no password, which means there is also no way to recover a save once that identifier is gone. Deleting the app, resetting the device or switching to a new phone ends that save permanently — including any virtual items bought with it. Please treat this as the trade-off for a game that asks for nothing about you.
The service may change
We may update, change or stop parts of the game, and we may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms. If we shut the game down entirely, we will give reasonable notice through the app or the store listing.
Our content
Ollie the Wonderkid, the character, the videos, the artwork, the music and the software are ours and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. Nothing here transfers any of that to you.
No warranty, and the limit of our liability
The game is provided "as is". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a save will never be lost. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits — nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer.
Ending it
You can end these terms at any time by deleting the game. We can end them if you break them. The sections on our content, on warranties and on liability survive.
Changes to these terms
We will post any changes here and update the date at the top. Carrying on playing after a change means you accept it.
